Is there a point at which to give up on someone? To say I cannot help them if they will not allow themselves to be helped? The trouble is I feel that if I were to give up hope that it would be like abandoning them. Yet if they said, 'I don't want to talk to you because of something'. Or I'd actually done something I'd be ok with that.
